Noatery is made by ChainFrame Private Limited. Whether you've hit a bug, have a question about how something works, or want to suggest a feature, we'd love to hear from you.
Reporting a problem
To help us resolve your issue quickly, please include:
- Your Noatery for Mac version, shown in the app's Settings or About screen
- Your macOS version
- What you were doing when the problem occurred, and what you expected to happen
- A screenshot or screen recording, if it helps show the issue
Common questions
Where is my data stored?
Noatery is local-first. Your entries live in a SQLite database on your device, no account, no cloud. See the privacy policy for details.
How do I back up my data?
Because your entries are stored on your device, they're included in your regular Time Machine backups. You can also export your entries from the app at any time.
How do I restore a purchase?
Purchases made through the App Store are tied to your Apple ID. Reinstall the app and use the restore purchases option in Settings. If that doesn't work, email us with your purchase receipt.
How do I request a refund?
App Store purchases are refunded by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you run into trouble, let us know and we'll do our best to help.
How do I delete my data?
Your data is stored locally, so deleting the app removes it from that device.
